The VSDCUA Annual General Meeting took place on August 12, 2025, at the Caulfield Cricket Club. Congratulations to all the members in attendance, who travelled from various locations despite the unfavorable weather conditions.

We express our gratitude to Marino Bovo, who did not seek reappointment as Treasurer, for his service over the past year. And we welcome Gary White on to the committee, who has previously served as President and Secretary.

Two life members were elected: James Barrett and Ian Wyatt, both of whom truly deserve this honour. Unfortunately, James is currently overseas, so his award will be presented at our End of Season Dinner.

Our subscriptions for this season are $135.00, with a $10.00 discount if they are paid on or before the due date of Tuesday 18th November 2025.

On closing of the meeting those present made short work of the delicious pizza supplied by our new sponsor, Pizza Hut, Australia. It was also nice to have the local area manager Johnny Reed at the meeting.

Our next meeting is on Tuesday, 9th September, at Brunswick Cricket Club, commencing at 7 p.m. This meeting will focus on the issue of apparel and other equipment, so it is important that you attend.
