Following advice received from VSDCA CEO Ken Hilton, re changes to facilities/access at Williamstown & Strathmore 1st/2nd XI grounds.

Williamstown Cricket Club
Williamstown Cricket Club advise that Hobsons Bay Council intends to undertake an upgrade to the change rooms at Williamstown Cricket Ground.

The impact of this will be that players/umpires will have access to temporary facilities, portables, as you often see on building sites, and the club will not be able to provide afternoon tea for the remainder of this season.

Strathmore Cricket Club
Access to Strathmore’s 1st XI ground.
Following advice received on 14 January.
Reconstruction of Mascoma Street, Strathmore from Peck Avenue to Melissa Street.
It is proposed that this work will start in the week commencing Monday 13 January 2025 and be completed around the end of April 2025, weather permitting.

Mascoma Street will be closed between Peck Avenue and Melissa Street to vehicular traffic when the works are being undertaken, so take this into consideration when appointed to a game at this ground.
